Hello there!

I'm a video games journalist, and have been for nearly a decade.

In May 2006 I joined Future Publishing and became the staff writer for Official Nintendo Magazine, the UK's most popular Nintendo publication.

I remained at ONM for six years, eventually becoming the mag's games editor, and was then asked to become online editor of Nintendo Gamer, Future's unofficial Nintendo publication.

Then, in 2013, I was given the honour of becoming the new games editor at Computer & Video Games, the world's longest running games publication.

Sadly, these days CVG is no more (trust me, it wasn't my fault) and now I'm freelancing, pimping my writing wares to anyone willing to wave cash in my face for well-written, efficiently delivered words.

I have been gaming since I was three years old (so for 29 years), and my retro knowledge is vast, though I can't decide if that's impressive or tragic. Ask me to discuss at length the mechanics of ToeJam & Earl and you can decide for yourself.

I also have an unusual tolerance for games that others would consider low quality: this unique ability led to one colleague declaring me The Prince Of 4/10's.

It's the most beautiful thing anyone's ever said about me.

PUBLICATIONS I'VE WRITTEN FOR:

• Official Nintendo Magazine UK
• Official Xbox Magazine UK
• Official PlayStation Magazine UK
• Nintendo Gamer
• Computer & Video Games
• GamesMaster
• PlayStation World
• Xbox World
• Games™
• Red Bull
